Laura's advice on whether we should tell our clients we're not feeling great, or variations there of.

I get that it might feel like this wouldn't work for every one and every scenario - if you have more corporate work than private, or if you're in a contract which is too precious to risk (although risk what, if you're already not well?) but you can see why this would be freeing and lead to better conversations.

For me, every time I've ever shared something more personal or open, about what's on my mind or how I'm feeling, I receive messages along the lines of 'I wish I could say that too' or 'I'm so happy you shared that'.

And that's from clients or not.

Connections or not.

People who know me, or not.

The power of expression and honesty can't be over-stated, especially as we progress into further uber-connectivity. Expression on your terms.

I work with my clients on their own freedom of expression - whilst it's aimed to support their business, the work we do comes from looking at their whole life, and where they've been or felt muted.

This results in a beautiful set of layers falling away, so that openness, authenticity and self expression are almost impossible NOT to share. And what that does for their business is vast - the confidence to share more, to create more, to connect more, to request sales more/in a more aligned way, to embody their business without it over-taking, to feel aligned to their growth, and more.

Mindset work comes from so many angles, it's often hard to pin down what you ACTUALLY do. But the results often speak for themselves.
